About Yunjin Kim

Kim Yun-jin is a South Korean-born American film and theater actress.

She is best known for her role as Sun-Hwa Kwon on the American television series Lost.

She also played Kitty in the series Mistresses.

Kim was born in South Korea, but moved to the United States with her family in 1983. They settled on Staten Island.

Her interest in acting started early when she performed in the musical My Fair Lady in middle school.

She later attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan.

After high school, she pursued a degree in drama from Boston University, following studies at the London Academy of Performing Arts.

To adapt quickly to American culture, Kim focused equally on acting, academics, and pronunciation.

Apart from her acting skills, Kim is also trained in martial arts.

Following her graduation, she committed full-time to her acting career.

She has starred in multiple productions, with notable performances in Korean TV drama Splendid Holiday and films like Shiri and The Legend of Gingko.
