Jaiswal is a member of the Indian cricket team.

He marked his international debut during the first Test match against the West Indies, where he scored a century.

Apart from playing for the Indian team, he also represents Mumbai and Rajasthan Royals.

During the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, Jaiswal was the top run-scorer for India under-19s and notably became the youngest cricketer to achieve a double century.

Born as the fourth child to Bhupendra Jaiswal, owner of a small hardware store, and Kanchan Jaiswal, a housewife, Jaiswal showed promising talent from a young age.

At the age of ten, he relocated to Mumbai in pursuit of cricket training.

Initially, Jaiswal was provided shelter at a dairy shop in exchange for work, but due to infrequent work, he was asked to leave.

In order to sustain himself, he resorted to living in a tent and selling panipuri.

After spending three years in tents, Jaiswal's potential as a cricketer was recognized by Jwala Singh, the head of a cricket academy in Santacruz.

Singh not only provided Jaiswal with accommodation but also took on the responsibility of being his legal guardian.
