About Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen, an Indian actress and producer, was born into a Bengali Baidya family.

After graduating from the University of Calcutta with a degree in commerce, Sen had a dream of becoming an actress.

As a child actress in a Bengali film, Sen made her acting debut as a lead in 2002.

Nominated at the Filmfare Awards for Best Female Debut, Sen transitioned into Hindi films with the comedy Hungama.

Throughout her career, she appeared in successful films like Baghban, Dhoom, Garam Masala, Kyon Ki, and Phir Hera Pheri.

In 2015, Sen participated as a contestant in a reality television show.

Raised in Jyotish Roy Road, her mother lived there before Sen convinced her to move to Mumbai.

Attending school in New Alipore, Sen credited her grandfather as her main source of encouragement before she pursued acting.
