Om Prakash Puri was an Indian actor who appeared in various Indian language films as well as international cinema.

He was recognized as one of the finest actors globally.

Puri received accolades such as two National Film Awards, two Filmfare Awards, and India's fourth highest civilian award.

In 2004, he was appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
