In March 2021, Yashwant Sinha joined the AITC, but he left in June 2022.

Yashwant Sinha, an Indian administrator and politician, served as the Minister of Finance from 1990 to 1991 under Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar and from 1998 to 2002 under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Yashwant Sinha also held the position of Minister of External Affairs from July 2002 to May 2004.

He was a senior leader of the party and contested an election against Droupadi Murmu.

Yashwant Sinha was born in Patna, Bihar, and graduated from the University of Patna with a bachelor's degree.

He further pursued a master's degree in political science and later taught the subject at the University of Patna.
