Nadi - Nadi is the most important factor in match making. It accounts for 8 points out of 36. Nadi reflects the areas of baby and health. It is divided into three parts: Aadi Nadi, Madhya Nadi and Antya Nadi. Both the persons should not have the same nadi as it can make nadi dosh. If there is a nadi dosh, then there are chances of marital failure. Bhakoot - Bhakoot is the second most important factor in matchmaking. It accounts for 7 points out of 36. Bhakoot reflects the area of respect in the marriage. If bhakoot is not in a good frequency for both people, then they can wear gaurishankar rudraksha as a remedy. Gana - Gana holds 6 points out of 36 in matchmaking. Gana is divided into three parts, that is Rakshasa/demon, Devta/god and Manushya/human. If both the partners have the same gana, then it is favorable for them. If one have devta gana and another have manusya gana, then it is average. Rakshas gana with devta or manusya is considered unfavorable for both persons as it results in fighting, controlling and dominating behaviors. Graha Maitri - Graha maitri holds 5 points out of 36. Graha maitri is dedicated to the area of interpersonal relationship, daily life and understanding between partners. If the partners have frequency less than 3 in graha maitri, it is not considered good for married life. Yoni - Next comes the yoni that accounts for 4 points out of 36.
