BEHIND YOUR READING

How your report is prepared

Our astrologers developed this framework. Your Vedic birth chart is calculated from your date, time and place of birth, read through classical Vedic principles and an Evolutionary Astrology lens on Rahu and Ketu, and then written in everyday words.

The chart

  • The same Vedic chart as your kundli: sidereal zodiac with Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and mean lunar nodes, so Rahu and Ketu sit in the same signs as in your kundli.
  • Ketu is read as what your soul already knows; Rahu as what this life is asking you to grow into; their two houses as two sides of one lesson.
  • Classical analysis adds planet dignity, the nature of each planet for your ascendant, yogas, house strength (Ashtakavarga), your Moon’s nakshatra, and the D9 and D10 charts for marriage and career.
  • House placements are compared 15 minutes before and after the given birth time; this checks two endpoints and does not verify a birth time.

Your soul-name and soul journey

Your soul-name is a simple, everyday name for the pattern in your reading, with what it means and why it fits. It is not a fixed identity, a spiritual rank or a verified former life. The soul journey follows what you carried from before, what life is testing now and where you are heading. Past-life themes are a way of understanding yourself, not verified history.

The years ahead

Vimshottari periods (dashas) are seeded from the Moon’s birth nakshatra with a 365.25-day year, using the full parent period including any portion before birth. The horizon starts on the report date: the first year is shown quarter by quarter, then years two and three. Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu are checked monthly, and their movements into new houses are calculated, not guessed. ‘Most supportive’ and ‘take it slowly’ windows are traditional possibilities, not guaranteed events. There are no medical predictions, remedies, purchases or investment instructions.

Terms you may come across

Rahu and Ketu
The two lunar nodes, where the Moon’s path crosses the Sun’s. Always opposite each other.
Dasha
A planetary period in the Vimshottari system; each brings its planet’s themes forward.
Nakshatra
One of 27 lunar mansions; your Moon’s nakshatra describes how you feel from the inside.
Whole-sign house
Each sign from your ascendant counts as one complete house, as in a North-Indian kundli.
Retrograde
Apparent backward motion seen from Earth, not a defective planet.
